Dress Code on Carnival Cruise
What's the meaning of "proper" considering the Carnival cruise dress attire, and what is the dress code for Carnival cruise ships? The majority of the BEST CARNIVAL FUN fans are concern mainly about the Carnival cruise dinner dress code, and much less about the Carnival Cruise Line dress code in general.
In short, "Carnival" means "Less Formal to Casual". Still, the Carnival cruise dress code for dinner depends on the dining option you choose on-board. There are 3 types of Carnival cruise dining options - the main big capacity restaurants (including the Lido buffet), the specialty dining (low capacity, on selected ships), and the 24-hour complimentary room-service. The first is casual, the second is formal, and the third is totally "free style".
The new dress code of Carnival Cruise Lines was implemented fleet-wide since May 2011. The first and most important issue about any dress code is what you can not wear in the main dining rooms during dinner. The NO-list includes - footwear with wheels, flip-flops, roller-blades, tracksuit trousers, gym and basketball shorts, bathing (swimming) suits, beach flip-flops, Т-shirts, sportswear, baseball caps. Аnd about the "forbidden" jeans types - all the "anomalies", like cut-offs, rips, acid-washed, etc. While on board, low heeled or flat shoes (rubber-soled) are recommended.
